Description

This ESProto Temp 2000 was designed for BYU for a lab in one of their courses.  It has these great features:

  • Easy to set-up and get working with any cell phone or desktop that has WiFi
  • The visible sticker provides an easy way to identify the MAC Address/Serial Number of the sensor.
  • Compatible with any software that will accept an HTTP POST containing JSON.
  • High accuracy and resolution, with adjustable “heartbeat” rate.
  • Very rugged construction in a NEMA enclosure, with a clear enclosure cover.

The ESProto Temp 2000 is based on the DS18B20 and has the following specification:

  • Range of -55 degrees C to +125 degrees C  (-67 to +257 degrees F)
  • Accuracy of +/- 0.5 degrees C from -10 to +85 degrees C
  • 12 bit resolution readings

Built to be easy to set-up and configure, this sensor is identical to our other ESProto Temp 2000 Series sensors, with a few changes for the classroom environment.  The top cover is clear to allow easy visibility of LEDs during the operation of the sensor.  The enclosure bottom does not have the extended mounting ears, to provide a more compact and easy to handle solution.
